Castalia -

William Arthur Sullivan, age 85, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, July 25, 2022. He was born on February 24, 1937 in Wilson County to Walter and Florence Gardner Sullivan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Sullivan.

Arthur will be dearly missed by his wife, Shirley Jackson Sullivan; children, Lisa Sullivan (Ronnie) of Castalia, William Sullivan, Jr. (Angie) of Nashville, and Kelly Green (Matthew) of Rocky Mount; siblings, Gene Sullivan, George Sullivan, Jimmy Sullivan (Elva), Earl Sullivan, L.J. Sullivan (Edith), and Shirley Faye Cockrell (Tim); grandchildren, Colby Sullivan (Sydney) and Riley Sullivan; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will host a graveside memorial service by the pond on family property, Friday, July 29, 2022, at 11:00 AM.  Please go to 5767 Taylor's Gin Road, and follow the signs.
