Zach Maxwell, age 20, passed away Tuesday morning, November 26, 2019. A Celebration of Life service will take place at 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 30 at Falls of the Tar Primitive Baptist Church, 101 Hunter Hill Rd., Rocky Mount. Friends are invited to visit the family two hours prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 pm.

Zach was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jim and Emma Walker and is survived by his mother, Amy Smith Scott and her husband, Edward; father, Randy Maxwell; two children, Savannah and Cody Maxwell and their mother, Montana Coley; sister, Taylor Maxwell, all of Rocky Mount; brother, Scott Maxwell of Raleigh; maternal grandparents, Malcolm and Jean Smith of Rocky Mount; aunt, Terry Prince of Rocky Mount; uncle, Tracey Smith and wife, Tonya of Red Oak; cousins, Trisha Eatmon and husband, Andrew of Bailey, Nick Prince and wife, Amanda of Rocky Mount, Travis Smith and Sara Smith, both of Red Oak, along with a host of family friends and other extended relatives.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established via Go Fund Me to assist with expenses.
