Aimee House, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, August 11, 2024 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. Aimee was born into a loving family with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and wonderful family friends. She loved them all and devoted her life to helping others with any need that arose. She was loved and adored by family and friends alike and will be deeply missed.

Aimee was preceded in death by her father, John Barnes and nephews, Jaydon Gibson and Kal-El Barnes. 

She wove a lifetime of cherished memories for her devoted husband of twenty-three years, Chad House; children, Aubrey, Wyatt and Lolly House; mother, Angela Barnes; brother, Chris Barnes (Melissa), all of Greenville; parents-in-law, Steve and Fran House; brother-in-law, Matt House (Paige) of Macclesfield; nieces and nephews, Ethan, Lydia, Chloe, Henry, Emma, Trent and Waylon; special friends, Harry and Kristy King of Farmville; along with several aunts, uncles, friends and extended relatives. 

A special time of gathering and remembrance will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 6 - 8pm at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Aubin Faith Family Cemetery (the family homeplace) with Pastor Scott Sherrod officiating.
