Alvin Earl "Al" Armstrong, Jr., age 68, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 at Prodigy Rehab in Tarboro, North Carolina. He was born on December 10, 1955 in Edgecombe County to Alvin E. and Virginia Mobley Armstrong. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Gerald Ward.

He is survived by his sisters, Brenda A. Ward and Crystal Whitfield and husband, Howard, all of Tarboro; along with many nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
