Mrs. Barbara Cohen, age 73, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Nash UNC Hospital in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She was born April 9, 1950 in Providence, Rhode Island and was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Virginia Meyer. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister who devoted twenty-six years as a teacher serving in Catholic schools.

Barbara leaves her beloved husband of fifty-one years, Frank Cohen; sons, Nicholas Cohen of Rocky Mount and Scott Cohen of New Jersey; sisters, Donna Rosenberg of New York and Lorrie Arvin (John) of California; along with nieces, nephews, family friends, and other extended relatives.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
