Bobby Joseph Barnes, age 62, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025. He was born on September 8, 1962 in Fredericksburg, Virginia to John and Pauline Jackson Barnes.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his siblings, John Junior Barnes, Shirley Carol Barnes, Connie Ann Barnes, Donnie Crawford Barnes, Timothy Paul Barnes and Cecilia Renee Barnes; niece, Aimee House and great-nephews, Jaydon Gibson and Kal-El Barnes.

He is survived by his brother, David Lee Barnes of Macclesfield; niece, Alexis Nicole Barnes; nephews, David Lee Barnes, Jr., Travis Barnes, Chris Barnes and Michael Barnes; along with several great-nieces and nephews and other extended relatives.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Aubin Faith Family Cemetery, Rocky Mount, NC 27801. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
