On Sunday, February 18, 2024 Brittany “BB” Elizabeth Lynn Nelson, 29, of Nashville, NC gained her heavenly wings and went to be with her family members that preceded her in death. Those waiting for her include her grandfather, George Edward Griffin; uncles, Ricky Lee Stallings and Jesse Earl Stallings; cousin, Shannon Faye Parker and great uncle, Charles Augustus "Pee-Wee" Griffin.

Brittany was born in Edgecombe County, NC to Christopher Scott Nelson and Kathy Lynn Griffin Nelson.

She leaves treasured memories for her mother, Kathy Lynn Griffin Nelson; father, Christopher Scott Nelson; brother and best friend, Christopher Edward Allen Nelson; her children who she loved dearly, Ian Cayden Scott Nelson and Mya Elizabeth Lynn Nelson; maternal grandmother, Daisy Lee Griffin; paternal grandparents, Ralph Allen Roach and Phyllis Ann Roach; godmother, Bonnie Johnson; nieces, Emmalynn Leigh Nelson and Araya Sunshine Nelson; nephews, Carter Allen Scott Nelson and Ryder Remington Griffin Nelson; aunts, Linda Ennis, Gina Cummins (Ike), Tina Radford (Jimmy) and Brandi Nelson; uncles, Curtis Stallings (Katina) and Nicholas Roach along with numerous cousins and special family friends.

A time of remembrance will be held from 1-3pm on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
