Cecilia "Renee" Barnes

Renee Barnes, age 59, passed away Wednesday evening, July 31, 2024 at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC. She was born on May 15, 1965 to John C. and Pauline Jackson Barnes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, John "J.J." Barnes, Shirley "Carol" Hawley, Donnie Crawford Barnes, Timothy Paul "Timmy" Barnes, and Connie Barnes.

She leaves a loving circle that includes her long time friend, Randy Harrelson; brothers, David Barnes, Sr. and Bobby Barnes, both of Macclesfield; along with several nieces, nephews, family friends, and other extended relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 pm, Monday, August 5, 2024 at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC. The family will receive friends immediately afterward. Interment will take place at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, August 6 at the Jackson Family Cemetery, 314 Asberry Road, St. Pauls, NC.
