Charles Edward Harris, age 88, passed away at ECU Home Health and Hospice on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

His life began in Nash County, June 2, 1935, born to Charles and Sallie King Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Pittman Harris, and brother, Robert Harris.

Charles is survived by his two children, daughter Rebecca Baudo (Joseph) and son Charles Ashley Harris, all of Rocky Mount; sister, Nancy Harris Howell of Rocky Mount; sister-in-law, Jean Harris, of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Joseph Baudo, Jr. (Angel) James Baudo, John Baudo, all of Rocky Mount; and great-grandson, Alan Edward Baudo.

The family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 7, at 2:30 PM, Rocky Mount Bible Church, 5630 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 PM.
