Christopher Lee “Boat” Rowe, age 24, passed away Friday, July 26, 2019.

Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard Ramsey, Sr., and Phyllis Warrington; and paternal grandfather, William Rowe. He leaves a treasure trove of wonderful memories for his beloved family that includes his parents, Rhonda Rowe of Tarboro and Gregory and Jessica Rowe of Blounts Creek; siblings, Bryan Rowe (Jessica) of Hobgood, Lindsay Rowe of Tarboro, Jacob, Joshua, and Savannah Rowe, all of Blounts Creek; paternal grandmother, Barbara Rowe of Blounts Creek; wife, Sherri Ann Hill of New Bern; aunts and uncles, Angie Hollowell (Beth) of Greenville, Richard Ramsey (Bonnie) of Garner, Thomas Rowe (Emily) of California, Bruce Rowe of Blounts Creek, and Dana Bland (Jeff) of Tarboro; niece and nephew, Serenity and Blake Rowe; special cousins, Damian and Jonathan Bland of Tarboro, Candice Ramsey of Garner, Forrest Lewis of Tarboro, Kevin Pelletier (Angie) of Siler City, and Brian Pelletier of Macclesfield; special friends, Rebecca Hux of Tarboro, Caroline Presley of New Bern, and Nick Wade of New Hampshire; and maternal step-grandfather, Larry "Papa" Warrington of Alabama.

A celebration of Chris’ life will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 1, 2019 at United Christian Ministries, 1402 Woodgreen Rd., Tarboro. The family will greet friends immediately following the service and other times at the home.
