Constance "Connie" Tidwell Moore

Constance "Connie" Tidwell Moore passed away at her home on December 9, 2023, while surrounded by her family.  Her life began on October 06, 1941, born in Halifax County to Jimmy and Minnie Martin Tidwell. She is survived by her two daughters, Shannon Jones and fiancé, Timothy Lynch and Jennifer Sharpe, all of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Alexis Morrisette and husband, Thomas, Joshua Richard Sharpe, Jeremy Lee Sharpe, Landon Wayne Lynch and Matthew Earl Jones; niece, Linda Spruill and special friend, Patrick Jackson.

The family will host a private memorial service at a later date.

This is a different kind of pain.

A pain that just can't be explained.

A pain that won't ever go away.

I just don't know how I'll ever make it through,

From this pain of losing you.

My life will never be the same,

for now, I will have to carry this pain,

until the day we meet again.

But with this pain I also carry,

so much love for you.

You were not just the best mother,

you were a mother like no other.

You were my best friend.

And the love we shared as mother and daughter,

Well, that's the kind of love that will never end!

Love you always and forever mama.
