Craig Thomas Pierce

Craig Thomas Pierce, age 47, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024. He was born in Edgecombe County on February 17, 1977 to Sellie "Buddy" Joseph Pierce, Jr. and Geraldine Taylor Pierce, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his sister, Cindy Pierce (Todd Bandy) and twin brother, Greg Pierce, all of Tarboro; nephews, Josh Cruz and Steven Cruz; maternal aunts, Sally Eastwood of Salisbury, Jenny Sult of Tarboro and Roberta Spencer (Vaughan) of Lexington; special friends, Bruce Henderson of Tarboro and Jeannette Plunkert of Greenville; along with many cousins, friends and other extended relatives.

Craig was a gentle soul who loved life and spending time with his family and friends. He was a die hard wrestling fan and believed there was no sweeter voice ever recorded than that of Reba McEntire. A precious child of God, he was a dear brother, uncle, nephew, and friend who will greatly missed until we see him again.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 12:00pm at Tarboro Church of God, 906 W. St. James Street, Tarboro, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00am.
