Dan Etheridge Stroud

Dan Etheridge Stroud, age 45, of Tarboro, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 24, 2026. He was born in Edgecombe County on April 29, 1980 and was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Stroud.

Dan will be remembered by all who knew him as a kind, considerate, and generous person. He never knew a stranger, loved being outdoors and never missed a chance to go fishing. He was a loving grandfather, father, brother and friend who will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Logan Stroud and wife, Taylor of Supply; mother, Linda Stroud of Tarboro; granddaughter, Annabella Mae Nicole Stroud; brothers, Robert Curtis Stroud and wife, Pam of Farmville and Eric Stroud and wife, Deborah of Tarboro, and a second grandchild, due in June.

He will also be missed by his niece, Katie Stroud; nephews, Evan Stroud and Chris Kricko (Mina); along with many cousins, friends and other extended relatives.  

The family will receive friends during a Time of Remembrance from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
