David Coley, age 47, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023. He was born in Nash County on August 9, 1976.

He is survived by his daughter, Montana Coley Edwards (Hunter) of Rocky Mount; son, William “Blake” Coley (Briley) of Sharpsburg; mother, Penny Pollard McMurray of Rocky Mount; father, James Edward Coley, Jr. (Angela) of Bracey, Virginia; siblings, Phillip Wayne Coley of Texas, Michelle Silveri (Mark) of Rocky Mount, Kevin Coley and Keith Coley; and grandchildren, Savannah Marie Maxwell, Codie Ray Maxwell and Hunter Edwards, Jr.

A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
