Deborah “Debbie” Turner, age 71, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, October 15, 2025 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. She was born in Nash County on July 19, 1954 to Milton Earl and Lucille Neville Henry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Cecil” Turner and siblings, Billy Henry, Lorraine Sykes, Annette Patterson and Catherine Walston.

She leaves a lifetime of treasured memories for her daughter, Miranda Turner of Tarboro; grandson, Ramsey Raines; sister, Linda Batchelor of Nashville; special niece that she loved as her daughter, Tammy Asay and husband, Kevin of Indiana; along with many nieces, nephews, family friends and other extended relatives.  

A service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery, Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00pm.
