Dennis Wayne Narron

Dennis Wayne Narron, 68, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 with his wife and sons by his side.  

He was born on August 10, 1953, in Rocky Mount, NC to William Mack Narron and Nina Turner Narron.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas “Bunk” Narron, Donald “Donnie” Narron and William “Bill” Narron. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Kaye Pierce Narron; sons, Christopher “Chris” Wayne Narron (Robin), Michael Dennis Narron (Karen) and William Mack Narron; grandchildren, Courtney Wynn Narron, Joslyn Daye Narron, Camille Layne Narron, Caden Michael Narron, Aiden Ray Narron, William Hunter Narron, Grady Monroe Narron and Jaxson Pierce Narron; sisters, Jean Price (Richard), Louise “Lou” Jacobs, Diane Prince Martin (Tim), Mary Frances Spence; brother, David Lee Narron (Margaret) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Dennis had a great love for the mountains and took many trips during his life to just enjoy the beauty of them. His plan was to move to the mountains, but God took him home to the most beautiful mountains ever created. Dennis also spent time at White Lake where many fond memories were made over the years. He loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed time with them.  He gave each grandchild a special nickname when born.

Over his lifetime he worked at several plants to include Burlington Industries, Standard Products, Ossid Mfg. and retired from Bridgestone/Firestone/Austin.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 1:00 PM at NorthSide Community Church, 1660 Beaver Pond Dr., Rocky Mount.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
