Donald L. Sherrick, age 70, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 4, 2023 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. He was born in Halifax County on December 17, 1952. He was preceded in death by his father, William Kenneth Sherrick; mother, Nannie Whitman; daughters, Amanda Sherrick and Cathy Sherrick and sister, Janet Davis.
He leaves a lifetime of memories for his wife of fifty years, Debbie B. Sherrick; daughter, Jennifer Faulkner and husband, Jon of Red Oak; grandchildren, Reagan Faulkner, Ennis Faulkner and Tristan Spivey; along with many friends and extended relatives.
The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Monday, May 8, 2023 at NorthSide Church, 1660 Beaver Pond Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 and other times at the home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 3:00PM at Elmwood Cemetery, Enfield, NC.
