Donna Arrington

Donna Arrington, age 65, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 3, 2025. She was born on October 7, 1959 to Leroy and Joyce Moore Arrington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Allen Arrington and sister, Debra Flowers. 

Donna enjoyed reading, putting together puzzles, golfing and especially cheering on the Tar Heels during basketball season. Her love extended beyond hobbies to include her fur-babies, Scottie, Reggie, and D.J., who brought much joy to her life. Donna will be missed dearly by her family, friends, and canine companions.  

She is survived by her niece, Melissa Hinnant and husband, Brad of Rocky Mount; nephews, Brian Arrington, Brent Arrington and Russell Arrington; great-nephews, Christian Arrington, Zachery Arrington, Brayden Arrington, Tanner Arrington, Jordan Hinnant and Josh Hinnant; lifelong friends, Joy Bradley and Darlene Naillon; along with a host of other extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to Gentiva Hospice Care of Tarboro.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
