Donnie Wayne Briley, age 56, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024. He was born on March 14, 1968 in Edgecombe County to parents, Billy Wayne Briley and Karen Gallinoto Briley.

He was preceded in death by his bonus dad, Sam Owens; maternal grandparents, Roland E. Martin, Frank J. Martin and Anthony Joseph Gallinoto; paternal grandparents, Leona W. Cherry, Willie Lee Briley; and Richard and Annie Owens.

He is survived by his daughter, Molly Briley of Orlando, FL; Molly's mother, Donna Cole Briley of Tarboro; mother, Karen Gallinoto Owens of Macclesfield; father, Billy Wayne Briley (Julie) of Greenville; sisters, Billie Lynn Thompson (Jay) and Bobbie Jo Abrams (Jerry), all of Pinetops; along with several nieces, nephews and family friends.

The family will host a memorial service at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Pinetops Baptist Church, 710 W. Hamlet St., Pinetops, NC 27864 with Pastors Jay Thompson and Randy Smith officiating.
