Donnievan Bailey Kennedy, age 90, passed away peacefully at her son's home Monday morning, August 19, 2024.

She was born October 23, 1933 to Sidney and Sallie Davis Bailey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew "Jack" Kennedy; sons, Andrew "Andy" Kennedy, III, Philip Kennedy, and Baby Boy Kennedy; five brothers; and three sisters.

Donnievan leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Darrell Kennedy (Pam); step-granddaughter, Angel Maxwell (Ryan); five great-grandchildren, Destiny & Jayden Wallace, Brycen Sellers, Chloe & Avery Maxwell; special friend, Billy Jackson, along with many nieces, nephews, family friends and other extended relatives.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 23, 2024 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home of Darrell and Pam Kennedy.
