Ellender "Ellie" (Aycock) Ives

Ellender Aycock Ives left for her Heavenly home on December 25, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Walter, Jr.; sister, Caroline Sullivan, her daughters Terry Jones Wallace and Sherry Jones; stepdaughters, Kim Ives and Jan Shields; grandchildren, Tamantha Pittman, John Kensley Pittman, Chara Pittman Anderson, Mariah Brooks Bailey, Caroline and Bennett Hampton; great grandchildren, Katherine Satre, Adalynn Pittman, Nova Anderson, Logan and Piper Bailey. 

Ellie was known for her spirited soul, cooking skills, gift for growing flowers, love of the color red, and anything Christmas. It was fitting that she passed on Christmas Day. 

The family would like to extend special thanks to The Ridge of Pikeville and Gentiva Hospice for her care during the last part of her dementia journey. 

A private service will be held at a later date.
