George Michael Ewell passed away Saturday, July 28, 2024 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia on August 2, 1954 to Isaac and Margaret Ewell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, George Michael Ewell, Jr..

He is survived by his daughters, Sarah Ewell of Williamston, Sharon Stockdale (Samuel) of Lexington, SC and Kayla M. Ewell (Angel De Jesus) of Chapel Hill; granchildren, Imani Ewell and Ryan Anders and close friend, Stewart Bridgers.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
