Gloria Jean Richardson

Evangelist Gloria Jean Richardson was born to Lonnie E. and Vera Evans Richardson on March 5, 1959, in Washington, DC. She departed this earthly life on September 15, 2023, at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, NC.

Gloria became an Evangelist many years ago and served faithfully at Faith Walkers International in Franklinton, NC

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vera Evans Hardy and Lonnie Edward Richardson; stepfather Willie L. Hardy; sister, Vera D. Anderson; and brothers, Lonnie R. Richardson Jr. and Jimmy A. Richardson.

She is survived by her two sisters, Diann Ford (Cornell) of Laurel, MD and Lenora Massenburg (Willie), of Whitakers, NC; brother, Willie Patrick Hardy Jr. (Diane) of Henderson, NC; sister-in-law, Salome Richardson of Littleton, NC; brother-in-law, Emanuel Anderson of Hollister, NC; great-aunt, Verna Parker (John) of Hollister, NC; seven nephews: Sonny, Chris, Keem, Jordan, Kadeem, Josh, and Tim; four nieces: Lonyell, Kim, Kisha, and Kita; ten great-nephews; four great-nieces; two great-great nieces; and a host of other relatives & friends.

A Service of Celebration will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 23, 2023 in the Fellowship Hall at Walter's Chapel United Holy Church, 1857 Ita Road, Hollister, NC 27844. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
