Helen (Rose) Webb

Mrs. Helen Rose Webb, age 69, passed away shortly before midnight, Friday, September 8, 2023. She was born in Edgecombe County on April 14, 1954 to Jack and Carrie Rose. She grew to become a loving daughter and beloved wife, mother, and mema. She had a servant's heart and maternal instincts that created a deeply rooted passion and love for children of all ages. She spent many years teaching and nurturing as a daycare teacher with Oakdale Baptist Church and later welcomed several children into her home daycare. She loved Shenandoah Baptist Church where she was a longtime member, and had also briefly worked for Capital Undergarment.

Helen leaves a lifetime of treasured memories for her devoted husband of forty-four years, Ronnie Webb; son, Stephen Webb and wife, Kristina, all of Rocky Mount; and bonus daughter, Kendra Anderson and husband, Jeremy of Whitakers. She especially adored her five grandchildren, Kennedy, Friedrich, Maelynn, Grayson, and Hazel and bonus granddaughters, Aurora and Ariel Anderson.

A service will be held at 6:30pm on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Shenandoah Baptist Church, 3894 Shenandoah Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27803. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 4:30pm. Interment will be Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11:00am at Macclesfield Cemetery, Macclesfield, NC.
