Henry Franklin Williams, age 83, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on August 3, 1941, in Rocky Mount, Henry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before returning home to build a successful career as a business owner. His work ethic, integrity, and generosity were known throughout the community.

Henry was a man of deep compassion and unwavering kindness. He would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need and never hesitated to lend a hand. His heart was as big as his smile, and he touched countless lives with his warmth and generosity. He was a devoted member of Benvenue Baptist Church, where he found not only spiritual guidance but a beloved church family that meant the world to him.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Margret Williams and his beloved wife, Lynn Williams. He is survived by his sons: Doug Williams (Kim), Chad Williams (Nikki), Brooks Williams (Jessica), and Scott Williams; grandchildren: Zach Williams (Kirsten), Gage Williams, Brody Williams, Hannah Hudson (Hunter), Matthew Williams (Makenzie), Joshua Williams, Jaxon Williams, and Caiden Castillo; and great-grandchildren: Piper Williams and Holly Hudson. He is also survived by his sisters, Donna Lancaster (Alton) and Lou Carson (Jimmie), and his brother Richard Williams (Cyndi).

Henry’s legacy of love, service, and strength will live on in all who knew him. His family takes comfort in knowing he is reunited with his wife and parents, and that his memory will forever be a blessing.

The family will host a Celebration of Life service at 3:00pm on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Benvenue Baptist Church, 2464 Benvenue Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804, with visitation immediately following the service.   While floral arrangements are welcome, you may consider memorial donations to Benvenue Baptist Church.
