Henry "Hank" Banff, Jr. Obituary

Rocky Mount-

Henry “HANK” Banff, age 80, peacefully passed Sunday, September 8, 2024 at his home with his loving wife and devoted caregiver, Lee and loyal eldest son, Steven by his side. His life’s journey began in Mullica Hill, New Jersey, on June 24, 1944. He graduated from Glassboro High School, and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass, both in New Jersey. Hank resided in Rocky Mount since April, 2006, where he proudly and joyfully was known as “The Honey-Do Man” of his business, “At Your Service Handyman.”

Hank was an avid farmer of vegetables, gardener of flowers, and collector of Lionel Trains. He enjoyed antiquing, riding backroads, dining out, Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State Football. He never met a stranger, many of whom became friends or pleasant remembrances of casual chats.

Hank is survived by his wife, Lee Hudson-Banff; son, Steven Banff and wife Martha; grandchildren, Steven, Ty, and Kylie; step-son, Jon Manzer; great-grandchild, Sesylia, all of Florida; brothers, Bill Banff, nephew Scott and niece Kathleen; Jim Banff and wife Jean, nephews Paul, Jimmy and Mark; close cousins Tim Banff and Robin Euler, all of New Jersey; treasured friends, Scott Vombrack, Ben Neville, Ray Lucas, and Carson Sutton.

Hank was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Ethel Euler Banff; son and best friend, Brian Banff; step-son, Jason Biddick, and nephew, Carl Banff.

The family will receive friends during a special Time of Remembrance 2:00 - 4:00 pm, Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
