James Arnell "Ice" Wilson

Rocky Mount - 

James A. Wilson, age 58, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 8, 2025 in Greenville, North Carolina. He was born in East Orange, New Jersey on February 24, 1967 to Dorothy Mae Wilson. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Willie Mae Wilson.

He spent most of his life in Newark, New Jersey and afterwards lived a couple of years in in Birmingham, Alabama. He later settled in Rocky Mount, North Carolina where he worked as a handyman doing construction work. He later met Denise Williams and fathered two daughters whom he loved dearly.

He leaves many memories for his daughters, Mashauntee and Ikayla Williams; aunts, Carolyn Johnson (Johnny), Rose Taylor, all of Rocky Mount, NC, Annie Hairston of Birmingham, AL, Cynthia Bryant (Darryl) of Union, NJ and Yvette Pugh of Newark, NJ; uncles, David Wilson of Roselle, NJ, Terrance Wilson and Victoria Wilson of Newark, NJ, Darnell Wilson of Rocky Mount, NC, and a host of special cousins and friends.

A Time of Remembrance will be held from 1:00 - 3:00pm on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
