William Daughtry "Jay" Joyner, Jr.

Jay Joyner, age 65, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2023. He was born February 25, 1958, in Nash County to Billy and Peggy Joyner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Joyner Langley.

He leaves to cherish his memory a son, William Daughtry Joyner, III; four sisters Ellen Joyner Taylor, Janice Joyner Lewis, Paula Joyner, Ann Joyner Payne (Carl); paternal aunts Audrey Thompson, Barbara Jean Barnes, Mataline Moss, and Margaret Bullock (Mike).

The family will host a private memorial at a later date.
