Joe Gallinoto, age 80, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. His journey began on November 11, 1944 in Pitt County to Anthony and Roland Everette Gallinoto. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Leonard.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Marion Louise Gallinoto; children, Sandra Carrington (Grant) of Clayton, Jennifer Harris (Chris) of Princeville and Mark Gallinoto of Tarboro; grandchildren, Joseph Askew, David Hatchel, IV, Christian Harris, Kaitlyn Gallinoto, Miley Carrington and Luke Gallinoto. Joe will also be missed by his siblings, Jerry Gallinoto (Melvina) of Williamston, Karen Owens of Crisp, Marie Gallinoto, Clayton Gallinoto (Shirley), Butch Gallinoto (Trudy), Tony Gallinoto (Donna), Frankie Gallinoto (Dinah), and Debbie Jones (Billy), all of Tarboro; along with a host of nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
