Joseph R. Pope, age 76, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC.
Joe was an avid fisherman with a variety of interests including vintage cars, dancing and especially music by Charlie Rich and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
He is survived by his sons, John Pope and wife, Leslie of Rocky Mount and Joseph "Bo-Bo" Pope and wife, Patricia of Bladenboro, along with several grandchildren.
The family will host a memorial service at 3:00 pm, Monday, December 2, 2024 at RiverBend Church, 9853 NC-97, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
