David Keith Mott, age 51, passed away Sunday evening, April 2, 2023 at Nash UNC Health Care in Rocky Mount.

A service to celebrate his life and pay tribute to his memory will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, April 6 at New Life Church, 1127 Benvenue Road, Rocky Mount, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1:30 pm, and other times at the home.

Keith's journey began on August 19, 1971 in Geary County, Kansas as a son born to David and Brenda Bottoms Mott. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Dee Mott; daughter, Candi Szabo (Adrian) of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Wendy Fox of Snow Hill; grandchildren, Kallie, Brianna, and Adrian Szabo; nieces, Meghan Lancaster, Morgan Fox, Caroline Robinson; nephews, John Scott Robinson and Taylor Robinson; brothers-in-law, Scott and Dan Robinson; special friends, Jack and Amy Collins; along with a host of family friends and other extended relatives.
