Nashville -
Kenneth Wayne Jordan, age 88, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, September 9, 2022.
One of ten children, he was born January 22, 1934, in Wilson County to the late Benjamin Theophilus Jordan and Lena Baker Jordan. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nora Hudson Jordan; second wife, Pattie "Pat" Bowen Jordan; seven sisters, Perlin Landen, Juanita Landon, Velma Kemp, Edith Gardner, Mittie Gorham, Littie Capps, Bernice Everette and one brother, Otha Jordan. Kenneth was a man of great faith and a member of Mill Street Baptist Church and attended Shenandoah Baptist Church for many years.
After graduating high school, he was drafted into the Army in 1953. After leaving the service he went to work for Merita Bread Company, retiring after 33 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sister, Barbara Moss; his good friend, Ricky Holloman and numerous nieces and nephews. His family would like to thank the staff of Autumn Care of Nashville for their love and tender care.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Pineview Cemetery at 9am Tuesday, September 13, 2022. The family will receive friends and relatives immediately following the service.
