Louella L. Allen, age 88, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Pruitt Health in Rockingham, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Geoffrey and Jean Kitchen Lentz; husband, Otis D. Allen; and son, Dwain Edward Allen.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Whichard (David) of Rocky Mount; sisters, Zella Jean Barrett of New Carlisle, Ohio and Betty Ann Scott of Wooster, Ohio; grandchildren, Charidy Corbett (Joey) of Nashville, David Kennon (Mary) of Kill Devil Hills, Blake Whichard (Emily) of Rocky Mount, and Joshua Whichard of Atlanta, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Ashley Stakes (Clayton) and Brian Moss, both of Charlotte, Dustin and Joshua Kennon of Kill Devil Hills, Caleb Kennon of Bailey, Zoey Whichard; great-great-grandson, Banks Kennon of Kill Devil Hills, along with a host of family friends and other extended relatives.

A private memorial will take place at a later date.
