Michael Stephen "Mike" Smith, age 58, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, September 15th, 2024. He was born to Cecil and Nell Smith on February 16th, 1966. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Smith Dunn and brothers, Dennis Dean Smith and Ronald Cecil Smith.

Mike is survived by his sisters, Janet Perry (Robert) of Elm City and Denise Pridgen of Rocky Mount; children, Casie Price (William) of Lucama, Dennis Smith (Makenzie) of Red Oak, Timmy Smith (Holly) of Wilmington and Matthew Smith of Castalia; grandchildren, Riley, Sophie, Corbin, and Ryder; good friends, Peggy Pridgen and Bob Jr.; and special friend, Cecille Butac; along with other loved friends and family.

The family will host a Celebration of Life and homegoing for Mike at 6pm, Thursday, September 19th at Corinth Baptist Church, 2883 N NC 58 Nashville, NC 27856. They will receive friends immediately following the service. Floral tributes should be directed to Corinth Baptist Church. 

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the medical and hospice staff of Duke Raleigh Hospital.
