Mollie Lee Evans

Mollie L. Evans, age 75, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 7, 2024. She was born on September 6, 1948 in Nash County to Isaac Bryant Evans and Mary Carr Evans, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Sherrie McAlhany (Dwayne) of Garner, Karen Driver (Keith) of Rocky Mount and Stephen Moore of Nashville; sisters, Sallie Crocker of Macclesfield, Jean Hammond (Dwight) of Taylors, SC and Joan Broglin of Wilmington and brother-in-law, James Moore of Rocky Mount. Mollie was proud of and adored her grandchildren, Katie Driver (Chris) and Jacob Driver (Maria) and great-grandson, Kaihler Hawkins. She will also be missed by several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.

The family will host a memorial service at 11:00am on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Corinth Baptist Church, 2883 N Hwy 58, Nashville, NC 27856 and will receive friends immediately following.
