Nellie Berry Clark, age 81, passed away peacefully Monday, April 28, 2025 at Edgecombe Health & Rehabilitation Center in Tarboro, North Carolina. She was born in Hyde County, NC on September 13, 1943. Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Clark and son, Tracy “T.L.” Levon Smith, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Starling Ann Smith of Macclesfield, Anita Smith Cobb (Tyrone), all of Macclesfield and Caroll “Wes” Eugene Spruill and several grandchildren.

A private memorial will take place at a later date.
