Robert "Bobby" Harris Little

Robert "Bobby" Harris Little, age 78, of Rocky Mount, NC died June 27th, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Portsmouth, Va. on December 25th, 1943 to James Albert Little and Ruth Turner Little, the second of three children. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert "Robbie" Harris Little Jr.; first wife, Mary Ellen Toffton Little; and brother-in-law, Phil White. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years, Priscilla Peck Little; daughters, Donna Nobles (Johnny Cowan), Mary Leigh Boykin, and Misty Little Proctor (Lane); grandchildren, Christen Colbert, Robbie Parker (Rebecca), Lauren Colbert, Andrew Parker, Brittan Pridgen, Carson Proctor, Colton Proctor, and Weston Proctor; great-grandchildren, Alivia Parker, Bryson Parker, and Emma Parker; brother, James "Jimmy" A. Little Jr (Faith); and sister, Linda Faye Little White; along with several aunts and numerous nieces and nephews. His canine buddy, Banjo will also greatly miss him. 

Bobby graduated from Benvenue High School in 1963. He worked at the United States Post Office in Rocky Mount for 38 years, first as a letter carrier, then as the VOMA, retiring in 2003. 
He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider. In his later years, he found great joy in fishing at Lake Gaston and instilling his love of it in Alivia, Carson, Bryson, and Colton. The family would like to thank Hospice of Wilson Medical Center for the wonderful care and comfort they provided him and us. They are a great support system. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Pastor Scott Sherrod officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at The Church of God, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 and other times at the home.

For anyone with a motorcycle, the final ride for Bobby will begin at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC. Please arrive at 10:00AM for formation for procession to the cemetery.
