Roger Allen Parker, Jr., known by friends and family as "Renegade", passed away Friday, January 31, 2025. He was born in Nash County on December 14, 1962 to Roger and Mary Morgan Parker, both of whom preceded him in death.

In his earlier years, Renegade was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his sons, Justin Parker and wife, Nikki of Temperance Hall and Jacob Parker of Tennessee; brother, Craig Parker and family of Castalia; sister, Kaye Metcalf and family of LaGrange; step-daughter, Alysa Courtney and family and grandchildren, Hunter, Brodie, Jayce, Bristol and Haisley.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
