Jeffery "Scott" Turner, age 61, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 at his home in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He was born in Nash County on January 8, 1964 to Joel and Sandra Keen Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Turner and brother, Joey "JoeJoe" Turner.

He is survived by his son, Daniel Turner; grandchildren, Mariah, Johanna, Daniel, Jr. and Lainey Turner; brother, Brian Turner of Elm City; sister, Dana Carter of Rocky Mount; special aunt, Peggy Bass of Elm City; and a precious little toy poodle named Blackie; along with a host of nieces, nephews and family friends.

The family will host a memorial service at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 17, 2025 at Aenon Missionary Baptist Church, 7503 Town Creek Road, Elm City, NC 27822.
