Lovingly known as "Granny Jack", Shirley was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devoted Christian who was a member of Castalia Baptist Church for many years, serving in various capacities. Her servant's heart was further amplified when she volunteered for a therapeutic riding program called Helping Horses. She had a love for God’s creations, especially the outdoors and animals including horses, dogs and cats. She enjoyed camping, traveling and the farm that she was born and raised on. Shirley was a fiercely independent and hard-working woman who was filled with endless energy and a sense of adventure. She will be truly missed by her family, friends, church family and the many people whose lives she touched.
