Steve Webb, age 66, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Nash UNC Health Care in Rocky Mount, NC.

The youngest of five children, he was born November 8, 1958 in Edgecombe County to Grover C. and Irene W. Webb. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Robert Bunn, Jr. 

Steve was an avid sports fan and a lifelong UNC fan. He enjoyed watching all sports, old movies and tv shows. He retired from BFPE after many years of service.

He is survived by his siblings that include Pat Bunn of Rocky Mount, Dot Hinton and husband, Phillip of Raleigh, Grover Webb and wife, Rose of Rocky Mount, and Janie Herring and husband, Richard of Red Oak. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, family friends and other extended relatives.

A service to remember Steve will be held at 3:30pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Chapel of Memories, Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
