Tammi Harber, age 51, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026. She was born in Bangor, Maine on September 17, 1974, the daughter of Elizabeth and Edwin "Jerry" Suitter.

Tammi loved people and had a heart of gold. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her parents. Later she traveled with her husband, Thomas Harber. She lived with Thomas in Texas for ten years before returning home to her parents in Rocky Mount.

Tammi is survived by her husband, Thomas Harber; parents, Edwin "Jerry" and Elizabeth "Lizz" Suitter; father and mother-in-law, Dr. Gary and Sherian Harber; uncles, Raymond Hills and wife, Debbie, Richard Hills and Tim Suitter; aunts, Donna McGillicuddy and husband Charlie, Emily Reece and husband, Bob; cousins, Jennifer, Ryan, Tennille, Christine, Karri, Marci, Corey, Allison and Paul, sister-in-law, Sherri Irwin and husband, Charles.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Westside Church of Christ, 2551 Benvenue Road, Rocky Mount with Reverend Mary Todd officiating. Visitation and reception with the family will be immediately following the service and other times at the home of Lizz and Jerry Suitter.

Tammi's remains will be taken to Maine and laid to rest with her beloved Grandmother and Grandfather Stewart.

While floral arrangements are welcome, those wishing to make memorial donations may consider the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation or the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition .
