Thomas Earl Burch, age 81, passed away on March 31, 2024, at Nash UNC Health Care, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 3, 1942, in Bertie County, North Carolina to Edgar Thomas Burch and Thelma Jones Burch.

He is survived by his children, Susan Vick (Mike) of Rocky Mount and Jon Burch (Caroline) of Leland; grandchildren, Emily Vick of Raleigh and Anna Reese Vick of Boiling Springs, SC; sister, Myra Ray (Charles) of Ahoskie; brothers, Jerry Burch (Aneick) of Knightdale, and Charles Hurdle (Terri) of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.

A special word of gratitude is extended to the staff at Autumn Care and Nash UNC Health Care for their acts of kindness and care.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
