Tony Rex Jeffries

Spring Hope -

Tony Rex Jeffries, age 67, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 23, 2026 at his home in Spring Hope, North Carolina. Tony was born in Edgecombe County on December 6, 1958 to Daylon N. and Lillie Mae Jeffries, both of whom have preceded him in death.

Tony spent his working life as a skilled HVAC technician, making many friends and customers through the years. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend who will always have a special place in our hearts.

Tony's surviving family includes his sister, Belinda Kay Rose and husband, Malcolm of Nashville; brothers, Daylon G. Jeffries of Zebulon and Wesley Jeffries and wife, Phyllis of Elm City. He also leaves his niece, Tiffany Frazier and husband, Michael of Elm City and great-nieces, Hannah Frazier and Haley Frazier, along with many cousins, family friends and other extended relatives.

The family will schedule a private memorial for a later date.
