William "Bill" Douglas Moseley, age 58, passed away Monday, August 24th, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Bill was born March 19, 1962 in Evreux, France to Amos Clark and Rebecca Best Moseley, both of whom preceded him in death. He leaves a family that he loved including his wife of thirty-three years, Lisa Vick Moseley; children, Chris Moseley (Jamee Coley) of Macclesfield, Amber Yatzor (Jacob) of Ayden, and Nicholas Moseley of the home; granddaughter, Addysyn Moseley; brother, Allen Moseley of Goldsboro; niece and nephew, Ashley and Ryan Moseley; aunts and uncles, Hilda and Tommy Phillips, Sandra and Bert Best, and Faye Best, all of Pinetops, along with a host of family friends and other extended relatives.
Known for being a man of few words, Bill was a thinker who loved the simple things in life. He enjoyed his solitude as much as the company of others. He found great joy and comfort in books and could easily lose himself in a variety of interesting stories. He loved his family and their well being was extremely important to him. Three times becoming a dad were the proudest moments of his life and becoming PaPa to Addysyn just made it even sweeter.
Please join family and friends as we celebrate and honor Bill's life in a Graveside Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the Moseley Family Cemetery in Crisp, NC. The family will briefly greet friends immediately following the service and other times at the home.
